Objetivo Sponsored by the European Trade Union Confederation, MIRTI aims to establish new patterns of regulatory industrial relations now called for by the impact of telematics at the work-place. It will develop guidelines and recommendations for the introduction of telework in companies and the public sector, for employer/employee contracts and for very small firms. Recommendations for national or EU-level implementation will also be considered. The project will provide a basis for EU cooperation on telework initiatives between employers and trade unions, pointing the way to fresh political strategies and legislation.
