Objectif Young people entering the labour market need qualifications that enable them to be trained for new jobs that are created by new technologies. In parallel, the European labour market is to an increasing extent becoming inter-European. There is therefore a need for improved training in CIM (computer-integrated manufacturing) that takes account of the transnational dimension. The objectives of this project are to improve the quality and innovative capacity of vocational education in the CIM area and to develop a training method based on CIM simulation in companies. An imaginary (or practice) company with departments in the partner countries will be established. It will work according to a developed CIM concept, comprising CAD, CNC, etc. The participating students will co-operate on production, purchasing and sales tasks. The simulation will be based on the production of one or more specific products. A CD-Rom with basic software and educational material will be produced.ImpactStudents' increased knowledge of CIM will enable them to use such techniques in companies and to undertake further specialised training. Their foreign language competence will also improve. The involvement of local companies will also ensure that the training is anchored in company reality.Contract number : DK/96/1/00446/PI/I.1.1.a/FPIDomaine : Initial vocational trainingContents : Industrial change Vocational qualifications Products : Training programmes/ curriculum Distance training Book, manual, guide Public : Young people in training Workers in companies Young workers Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Thème(s) I.1.1.a - Initial vocational training Appel à propositions Data not available Régime de financement CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinateur TEKNISK SKOLE SLAGELSE Contribution de l’UE Aucune donnée Adresse BREDAHLSGADE 1 4200 Slagesle Danemark Voir sur la carte Coût total Aucune donnée
