Objective The high level of unemployment among young people and an absence of career prospects are having a detrimental effect on their relationship with work. In order to counterbalance this tendency, this project proposes helping young people to create their own employment. To achieve this goal, the partners will provide vocational training centres with the tools necessary to train their students how to set up and manage fledgling companies following the model of the "Coopérative de Travail Associé" (C.T.A.) (association-based work co-operatives).Training equipment and information regarding the setting up and operating of an association-based work co-operative will be developed and distributed to training and career-guidance professionals. The manual will be presented in comic-book form. It will cover legislation on co-operatives in each of the partner countries and present the innovative aspects of a C.T.A. vis-à-vis a traditional company.ImpactThis project will help young people to enter working life by incorporating self-employment creation tools into their training.Contract number : E/96/1/00100/PI/I.1.1.c/FPIDomaine : Initial vocational trainingContents : Access to vocational training Vocational/ Careers guidance Transition of young people to workProducts : Guidance methodology Group training with tutor Book, manual, guide Public : Young people in training Students Trainers, designers & managers of training programmes Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Topic(s) I.1.1.c - Vocational information and guidance Call for proposal Data not available Funding Scheme CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinator CONFEDERACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE COOPERATIVAS DE TRABAJO ASOCIADO - COCETA EU contribution No data Address VALLEHERMOSO 15 28015 Madrid Spain See on map Total cost No data
