Objectif This project will multiply the results of the 'Multilingual business dictionary' project which received grants under the LINGUA and Leonardo programmes between 1994 and 1996. The new 'Capital Business Dictionary' will include up to 12,000 terms with entries translated in up to 20 languages (minimum 14) and full definitions of each term translated into English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. The recorded pronunciation of the entries in English and Spanish will be available in CD-Rom. Smaller versions (7,000 terms in 12 languages etc.) will also exist. A basic MBA course will also be developed. This will cover up to 400 units including an introduction of 3 pages, a list of related terms from the dictionary and a basic bibliography for each unit. A Spanish MBA school will provide three kinds of diplomas for people who have sat the relevant exams. This will only be available in Spanish at first, but customised versions are envisaged. ImpactThese products will cater for the demand for self-language teaching in the general management area amongst internationally-minded medium-level executives.Contract number : E/96/1/00493/PI/III.3.a/FPIDomaine : Initial vocational trainingContents : Language skills Self-training and distance learning On and off-the-job training in higher educationProducts : Systems for language audits Semi-autonomous/ flexible training Computer/electronic-based materials Public : Tutors Students Managers/ Owners of SMES Programme(s) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Thème(s) III.3.a - Multiplier-effect projects Appel à propositions Data not available Régime de financement CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Coordinateur LID EDITORIAL EMPRESARIAL Contribution de l’UE Aucune donnée Adresse SOPELANA 22 28023 Madrid Espagne Voir sur la carte Coût total Aucune donnée
