Cel The demand for effective, inexpensive foreign-language learning methods is growing due to the fact that companies are becoming more international and due to the need for European workers to become more mobile. The Lausetel project will study how sophisticated telecommunications tools facilitating contact between a learner and a native speaker in the target-language country can contribute to developing language skills inexpensively and as quickly as possible. The project partners (three language schools and a research institute), who already have extensive experience with computer networks and multimedia systems, will use the Internet to set up a prototype training system. This prototype, which will put learners in contact with native speakers in the target-language country will be tested directly by the partners on their regular clients. They will also develop guidelines on materials and new educational methods needed to design such a training system.ImpactAccess to language learning facilitated by the use of new communications technologies.Contract number : F/96/1/00009/PI/III.1.a/CONTDomaine : Life long learningContents : Language skills Self-training and distance learning Products : Open and distance learning material Group training with tutor Computer/electronic-based materials Public : Training experts Training managers Students Program(-y) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Temat(-y) III.1.a - Support for the development of language skills Zaproszenie do składania wniosków Data not available System finansowania CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Koordynator CENTRE INTERNATIONAL D'ETUDES DES LANGUES (CIEL) Wkład UE Brak danych Adres Rue DU GUÉ FLEURI 29480 Le Releq-Kerhuon Francja Zobacz na mapie Koszt całkowity Brak danych
