Cel Vocational education and training are seen as having a lower status than more academic, liberal education pathways. The overall aim of this survey and analysis project will be to analyse the development of national policies and practice in initial vocational education and training in five EU member states in order to determine how the status and attractiveness of this kind of education can be improved. The partners will undertake an examination and comparison of current policy and provision of initial vocational education and training within their countries and will initiate selected studies of identified good practice. Analysis of these studies will lead to the development of recommendations and these findings will be disseminated through a series of publications in education and training journals and through seminars and conferences. It is intended to circulate copies of the project's reports to other related projects with a view to establishing a dialogue with them in order to enhance the European dimension of the project's activities.ImpactThe results of this research will be used to make recommendations and suggestions to partner countries as to how they can improve the status of vocational education.Contract number : IRL/96/1/10073/EA/III.2.a/FPIDomaine : Initial vocational trainingContents : Equal opportunities Access to vocational training Disadvantaged peopleProducts : Publication Public : Young people in training Program(-y) ET-LEONARDO DA VINCI 1 - Action programme for the implementation of a European Community vocational training policy Leonardo da Vinci, 1995-1999 Temat(-y) III.2.a - Surveys and analyses in the field of vocational training Zaproszenie do składania wniosków Data not available System finansowania CSC - Cost-sharing contracts Koordynator CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT UNIT Wkład UE Brak danych Adres SUNDRIVE ROAD, CRUMLIN 1 Dublin Irlandia Zobacz na mapie Koszt całkowity Brak danych
