Development of assays for the detection and prediction of co- and anti-mutagenic constituents in food with cells of human origin

Objective

It is well documented that diet and the existing food containments play a crucial role in the aetiology of cancer in humans. In order to perform a reliable risk assessment for human in the present project we plan to develop and validate new assays using human hepatoma and hepatocyte cells systems.
