Objectif Monochrome and colour polymer light emitting diode (PLED) flat panel displays will be developed for consumer and transportation applications. Cost-effective, high performance Small Graphic Displays (SGD) prototypes will be demonstrated. The work in the project focuses on improvements in the display device materials, structures and manufacturing techniques to leverage the full potential of light-emitting polymer technology. New packaging and driving solutions will also be developed and evaluated during the project. The displays will be incorporated in concept modules for consumer and automotive end-use. An objective of the project is to expand both the polymer materials infrastructure in Europe and to create a European supply of high-performance graphic PLED displays. Objectives:The objective of the project is the development of high-performance monochrome and colour polymer light emitting diode (PLED or polymer LED) flat panel displays for consumer and transportation applications. The project also expects to contribute to the expansion of the polymer materials infrastructure in Europe and to create a European supply of high-performance graphic PLED displays.Work description:High-performance monochrome and colour polymer light emitting diode (PLED or polymer LED) flat panel displays will be developed for consumer and transportation applications.
