Obiettivo The CRC plays a key role in excitation-contraction coupling, in the heart. The amount of Ca2+ that is released from the SR dictates the force of contraction. Elucidation of CRC regulation, at the molecular level, will enable us to design clinically-helpful agents that modulate cardiac contraction.
