Obiettivo Description:The European Advanced Light Microscopy Facility at EMBL provides access and support in state-of-the-art light microscopy techniques and their biological applications. Commercially available equipment-provided by leading companies in the field-and novel techniques developed by EMBL scientists are offered by this infrastructure. The main techniques available are single, two photon and theta confocal microscopy, photonic microscopy, fast 3D sectioning, time-lapse fluorescence microscopy, image analysis and restoration, computer automated microinjection, and single cell and tissue micro-manipulation devices. During their stay, visitors are fully integrated in the EMBL scientific environment. The total amount of access offered by the infrastructure during the funding period will be 4500 hours for about 50 users from all over Europe.Application:Project Manager:Christian Boulin, Cell Biology and Biophysics Programme, Meyerhofstrasse 1, Heidelberg 69012, P.O.
