Reactor dosimetry: accurate determination and benchmarking of radiation field parameters, relevant for reactors pressure vessel monitoring

Objective

The radiation embitterment of RPVs has become one of crucial consideration for safe operation of aging nuclear power plants. The qualification of measuring and calculational methodology for the determination of neutron and gamma exposures in critical locations of RPV will be done in the REDOS project via a corresponding benchmark, using data obtained in the LR-O facility.
This activity will be carried out with experimental measurements in a VVER-1000 mock-up. The space-energy indices dpa and other values will be derived from the spectra o r evaluated from direct measurements.
