Thematic network for neutron and muon beam sources- ess extension

Objective

To keep the European users well informed and deeply involved in the ESS project. To produce by summer 2003:
1) A proposal for ESS - a unique third generation neutron source, with realistic technical risk levels and a cost range between 1 and 1.5 Geuro;
2) A scientific case for the European Spallation Source developed by European users from all fields that can benefit from the source. From summer 2003 to assist in the start up of the engineering design aiming for an operational facility in 2010.
