Objective

The seven teams are naturally divided into three groups, depending on their complementary expertise and available instrumentation. Extensive intra- and inter-exchange between teams and groups will allow training within:
- Advanced inorganic synthesis
- Glove box and Schlenk techniques
- Vibrational spectroscopy
- Crystallography
- Multielement NMR spectroscopy
- X-ray scattering and EXAFS of liquid, amorphous and crystalline materials
- Various electron microscopic techniques
- Moessbauer, NQR and ESR spectroscopy
- Magnetic and electric conductivity measurements
- Quantum chemical and statistical mechanical calculations
- Social and linguistic versatility
