Ziel

This project is aimed at detecting defects in hot rolled bars as soon as possible after rolling. Traditional methods using eddy current detection are not entirely satisfactory. An alternative system is to use a series of individual detectors of this type positioned around the circumference. This method has been demonstrated to be successful in the laboratory and now needs to be validated on an industrial scale.
