Objective The objective of this research project is to develop a technically and economically acceptable recycling process for residues with a high iron content in order to avoid their being dumped. To be more precise, it is intended to develop a low temperature briquetting process of self-reducing blendings, which could then be charged into an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) or into a cupola. This research will be mainly focused on the processing of two kinds of residues: -oily mill scales and sludges; - EAF dust.
