Societal and economic policies to promote quality of life and well being: discrete preference identification and priority setting in response to changes in labour market status

Obiettivo

Using a novel approach the proposal will explore and model
(i) how inequalities in socio-economic status affect the quality of life and well being of the population;
(ii) the relationship between working patterns and job satisfaction and how this impact quality of life and well being;
(iii) how changes in labour market experiences impact on job satisfaction, quality of life and well being;
(iv) the stated preferences of individuals about how different working patterns and conditions affect their job satisfaction, quality of life and the interaction between them; and about how different social norms in the workplace affect their job satisfaction, by using conjoint analysis and experimental economics methodology.

It will compare these relationships across the EU to assess whether institutional differences and differences in social norms influence individual perceptions of this relationship.
