Ziel

The aim of this research is to develop a device combining a dissolution cell for various types of steel surface with a detection system using ion chromatography and specific electrodes.

To achieve this it is necessary: - to develop a dissolution cell, - to automate the transfer within the detector, - to develop separation systems suitable for continuous analysis, - to improve the detection of organic ions. It is intended to develop a device capable of analysing the surfaces of flat products (sheet, strip) or long products (wire, bars and rod, tubes).
