Objective The Centre covers R&D of advanced ceramic materials, catalytic and structural properties of layer silicates and theoretical methods for characterization of the structure and properties of the matter , including teaching and training of students and young researchers . International scientific conferences and workshops are regularly organized. The aim of this project is to support closer collaboration between the experimental and theoretical working groups within the Centre. It will bring a synergy effect resulting in the new-quality advanced materials either for various purposes ( catalysis , nano-ceramics , etc . ) . Another goal is to develop new and/or improve existing links between the Centre and other high-level European research institutions or other Centres of Excellence . The Centre follows the priorities of the 5th and 6th FP nanotechnologies and intelligence materials.
