Obiettivo The aim of this research is to define the range of welding conditions, which can be applied to the fabrication of steels produced by accelerated cooling. A wide range of steel compositions, thicknesses and cooling conditions will be studied and the static and fatigue properties of welded assemblies evaluated. This work will be carried out in close collaboration with projects P2336, P2435 and P2470 included in this programme.
