Quantifying the effect of variation in depositional conditions on the palaeomagnetic signal recorded in surface sediments

Quantifying the effect of variation in depositional conditions on the palaeomagnetic signal recorded in surface sediments

Objective

We wish to test the influence of several parameters, relevant to the magnetization process by comparing the magnetic signal of surface sediments from a variety of well-constrained depositional environments.
