Objectif Considering the structure of the European wood industry and the research infrastructure in Europe, as shaped by the 5th and previous Fops, a model design for structuring and organising the European Research Area for the "Integrated Wood Chain" will be developed. The proposing consortium represents the views of the European wood industry. The AM project will formulate a medium term research programme and propose/ shape structures, which are capable of designing and managing " Integrated Projects ". All interested parties are invited to contribute. The results of the AM will help the European wood industry to meet the challenges of the future with respect to realising the European Research Area.
