Nutrient turnover and longevity of wetland plants from nitrogen-, phosphorus- and potassium- limited sites

Nutrient turnover and longevity of wetland plants from nitrogen-, phosphorus- and potassium- limited sites

Objective

The main purpose of the proposed research is to test the hypothesis that the efficiency of nutrient use over more than one growing season tends to be reduced under P-or K--limited conditions compared to N-limited conditions, and that this effect is particularly severe in species that do not naturally occur in P- or K- limited wetlands.
