The objective of the research is to develop a computer model that can predict the microstructure of low-carbon steels subjected to thermomechanical treatment. The following aspects, which are of specific relevance to the production of control-rolled steel plate, will be given particular attention: - controlled cooling after rolling in the austenitic range -rolling in the ferritic-austenitic range followed by air cooling.
