Optimisation of steel melt filtration

Ziel

The separation of inclusions using ceramic filters is a state-of-the-art refining process for both light metals and cast iron. The aim of this project is to ascertain the optimum filtration parameters for steel. Filtration test are planned with alloyed and unalloyed steels.
