Integrated cross-media customer oriented models

Objective

This project aims at gathering the experience from selected organizations and research projects in the area of cross-media content in order to stimulate the commercial exploitation of innovations as well as to focus research activities. The FIFA World Cup and the related digital content can be seen as a key to exploit the technological possibilities within the above stated segment.

The INCCOM project will be examining the latest technical achievements, highlighting the opportunities within a football framework and discussing user relevance and potential. Thus, the focus of this Co-ordination Action (CA) will be the promotion of the take-up of cross-media content and services based on national and international delivery models of football related content.

Work description: The INCCOM project is scheduled to cover a period of 28 months and is divided into three phases. In the first phase, the consortium is responsible for the aggregation and exploration of current know-how, research and commercial activities (WP2). The exploitable knowledge will be transferred within the operational module (WP3.), involving several European countries and small and medium sized companies (SMEs). In the second phase, (WP4) the focus will be on the definition of integrated commercial models for the exploitation of existing technologies and the facilitation of the cooperations within the value-chain.

The consortium together with the workshop participants in several European countries will use the framework of the FIFA World Cup in their concerted effort to develop Integrated Cross-media Customer Oriented Models. In the third phase, WP 5 and 6 will focus on follow up an monitoring the commercial model and their implementation, as well as dissemination the INCCOM results.
