Objectif The aim of this project is the improvement in the quality of large welded pressure vessels made from a high strength low alloy steel.The final aims will be :- to avoid high preheating temperatures during welding- to eliminate postweld heat treatments- to avoid the risk of brittle fracture under hydrostatic loading.
