Cel Modern cell culture (marine invertebrate cell culture) and bio production techniques (bioreactor) will be introduced in marine natural product research. Marine invertebrates will be used as bio factories for the synthesis of natural products with biomedical potential, such as compounds for the synthesis of natural products with biomedical potential, such as compounds possessing anti-cancer and anti-viral activity. This novel approach will also allow producing marine invertebrate secondary metabolites of industrial interest, notably avarol/avarone and aeroplysinin. The candidate will find benefit particularly by learning new techniques of search in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell culture. The development of bioassays on cell cultures shows a direct application in biotechnology. The project will be able to directly make the candidate qualified for a search for a work in University or in a company of biotechnology Dziedzina nauki natural sciencesbiological sciencesbiochemistryengineering and technologyenvironmental biotechnologybioremediationbioreactorsnatural sciencesbiological scienceszoologyinvertebrate zoologynatural sciencesbiological sciencesmolecular biology Program(-y) FP5-LIFE QUALITY - Specific Programme for research, technological development and demonstration on "Quality of life and management of living resources", 1998-2002 Temat(-y) 1.1.1.-3. - Key action The "Cell factory" Zaproszenie do składania wniosków Data not available System finansowania RGI - Research grants (individual fellowships) Koordynator JOHANNES GUTENBERG UNIVERSITAET MAINZ Wkład UE Brak danych Adres Duesbergweg 6 55099 MAINZ Niemcy Zobacz na mapie Koszt całkowity Brak danych
