Objectif This project was concerned with the research and development of a local area wideband communication system for broad sites. The prototype system produced meets the anticipated communication requirements of large industrial scientific and administrative organisations. The project took into account data, text, voice and graphics communication requirements and the need to provide backbone networks and gateways for heterogeneous LANs.
