Objectif Currently the supply-chains are being restructured from being national to becoming pan-European and even global. However, this development is partly hampered by the limited ability of the present 3PLs to accommodate the shippers' demands with respect to e.g. geographical scope and the scope of services, including intermodal transport.Therefore, the PROTRANS proposal will investigate the role of 3PL providers and their impact on transport.
