Periodic Report - ASSYMETRY IN MEN (Generation of asymmetry in mitotic exit network (MEN) signaling)

Project ID: 239416
Funded under: FP7-PEOPLE

These figures are attached to the periodic report of the ASSYMETRY IN MEN project, which was funded under the European Community's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

The project aimed to examine the generation of asymmetry in Mitotic exit network (MEN) signalling, so as to increase knowledge on the regulation of the exit from mitosis and the mechanisms controlling the cell cycle. As a result, light would be shed on one of the key initiation steps in tumour formation.

The first figure provides a schematic of the MEN network, while the second illustrates the observed asymmetric localisation of MEN components through a graphical representation of the cell cycle progression.
