This is the final activity report of the SCIENCEDUC project. Funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), SCIENCEDUC was a two-year project proposed and supported by Estonia, France, Hungary, Portugal and Sweden. Some actions were extended to Germany and Italy.

The project aimed at renovating science education in primary schools through the establishment of a European network, allowing exchanges and enhancing the development of good practices: teachers training, dissemination of good teaching methods, online collaborative project and evaluation.

SCIENCEDUC network acted in the frame of NUCLEUS and because of its strength, the rate of exchanges between partners progressively increased to succeed into a new common proposal involving all SCIENCEDUC partners (Germany and Italy included) as well as other new five partners. The result was Pollen, an initiative fostering SCIENCEDUC approach in twelve European Union (EU) Member States.

This document describes the aims and objectives of the project and analyses all the activities and results, including:
- teachers training;
- evaluation;
- dissemination of good practices and methods for extending the education program to new primary schools;
- integration to the NUCLEUS cluster;
- online collaborative projects and;
- perspectives of SCIENCEDUC project.
