This is the final report of HARCANA, a project which, under industrial leadership, aims at mastering, at the nanometric and mesoscale level, the spatial organisation of Carbon-based nanoparticles (CNP) with various surface functionalities, sizes and shapes having large aspect ratios in bulk, foamed and thin film (membranes) polymers by using industrially viable processes. More precisely, the aim of this proposal consists in generating polymerbased nanocomposites with a percolating nanoparticle structure that is reinforcing the material and imparts it with improved electrical and thermal conductivity at a minimum of nanoparticle loading.

HARCANA was organised in a number of Work packages (WPs) dealing with the production and functionalisation of CNP (mainly Carbon-based nanotubes (CNT)), and WPs dealing with the preparation of membranes, bulk materials, and foams. The report thoroughly analyses the work performed through these WPs.
