Final Report - CEECEC (CSO engagement with ecological economics)

Project ID: 217745
Funded under: FP7-SIS

The CEECEC project, which received funding under the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), aimed to build Civil society organisation (CSO) capacity to engage in research into ecological economics, encouraging cooperative research between CSOs and ecological economists for the benefit of policy-making. Key to the CEECEC approach was recognition of the large stock of practical knowledge held by CSOs on environmental-economic issues, and the combination of CSO and research efforts to co-develop language, approaches and tools for collaboration. The end product should be online materials and a handbook in several languages explaining the principles, the tools and the methods of ecological economics for CSOs and the general public.

Both documents are the final reports of the project. The report documents briefly the main objectives of the project and provides an overview of the main achievements and their impact. It goes on with introducing the wider context of the project, the objectives that the project set out to address and also covers the main achievements. It closes with the potential impact, the dissemination activities and the exploitation of results.
