Final Report - MUSECORR (Protection of cultural heritage by real-time corrosion monitoring)

Project ID: 226539
Funded under: FP7-ENVIRONMENT

This is the final publishable summary report for the MUSECORR project, which received funding under the European Commission's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), was to develop electronic loggers for continuous measurement of air corrosivity, AirCorr. Three versions of AirCorr loggers were designed for specific market segments. AirCorr I is an indoor version with an exchangeable sensor well suited for e.g. showcases. AirCorr I Plus has temperature and relative humidity sensors, two exchangeable corrosion sensors and an LCD showing current corrosivity. AirCorr O is a watertight logger for heavy-duty applications.

The report provides, in the beginning, an overview of the project main objectives and achievements, and goes on with introducing the wider context of the project, as well as its specific objectives. The achieved results are also stated in detail. The report closes with the potential impact.
