In this project the influence of various process parameters on the development of the rolling and anealing textures and the resulting physical and technical properties of deep drawing steels was investigated. The main object of this study is the optimization of the {111}<uvw> texture in the final rolled and annealed sheet. The following process parameters were investigated:

- The influence of carbon in various concentrations in both, solute and precipitate state prior to cold rolling;
- The influence of various dispersions grades of the precipitate carbide;
- The influence of intercritical annealing;
- Influence of the initial grain size in the hot band;
- Influence of the hot band texture.
