Nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures are highly dependent on the availability, quality and safety of labelled compounds. The principle objectives of this Action are:

- To develop new radiotracers for nuclear medicine application;
- To synthesize precursor molecules suitable for labelling with radionuclides;
- To develop suitable labelling methods for routine production of radiotracers;
- To perform preclinical studies of the new radiotracers;
- To provide pharmaceutical standards of preparation as well as methods of quality assurance in order to provide for safe application of the radiotracers;
- To perform clinical collaboration studies between the participating countries.

The results obtained in this project (1992-1997) are presented in this report. report.
