The research project and the integration of the fellow is running as planned. 24 peer reviewed publications have been published during the period where some of these publications are key publications to this project. The fellow is fully integrated into the institute as a senior member with a likelihood of advancing to the level of professor already in 2016. The fellow has secured substantial amounts of external funding (>£600,000) from national and international sources through collaborative or individual research bids. The fellow has managed to build a new cutting-edge computational lab for high performance computing in collaboration with Dell Inc. The fellow has managed to build a research group consisting of permanent staff and temporary post doc positions. This group will, according to the original schedule, be extended with 2 PhD students in 2017. Model development with WRF-Biochem is advancing and the first publications have already appeared in scientific literature. The successful funding applications has secured substantial funding for the group until the year 2019 and ensured a substantial increase in the scientific ambitions. The research findings are implemented at University of Worcester in form of research led teaching as the fellow has taken important teaching responsibilities in relation to atmospheric science. A number of structural changes has been implemented at the university, which are expected to further support the integration of the fellow and also support the increased ambition level within this project.
