Reproducible immunosensors

The majority of clinical immunoassays are currently performed using batch ELISA assay systems and typically take from hours to days to perform. The device developed offers a method of performing the assay in significantly shorter times (less than 1 hour). It is most likely that the sensor would find application as a screening measurement to filter out the very large number of null samples that typically occupy an immunology laboratory's resources.
