An ultrasonic gas meter with minimized sensitivity to transport dust and gas property variation

The two main aims of this project, the minimization of sensitivity to transported dust and the minimization of gas property variation, has resulted in a new generation of gas flow meters without filters and smaller than the first generation. Due to this, a gas meter without filter, can be marketed more cheaply. It has been tested and approved by the authorities, and it is being used in 800,000 houses in the United Kingdom. The resulting gas meter design should ensure European leadership in a potentially very large world market.
