Exploitable results Precision tests of the standard model The aims of this project are to provide the tools for evaluating the consequences of the standard model for precision experiments performed at several accelerators and to carry out these evaluations with the developed tools. The developed tools will be used to perform 2-loop calculations. Analytical techniques, exact and approximate, and numerical techniques will be developed as well. Other tools are Monte-Carlo programs, which implement theoretical results in such a way that comparison between theory and experiment becomes feasible even in complex experimental situations. Ideally, the project aims to develop so-called event generators, which simulate the expected experimental data from the theory. The evaluations are concerned with top and Higgs effects and the interplay between electroweak and strong interactions for LEP 1 and accurate calculations for the 4 fermion final states, which will be studied in LEP 200. The project will not only study the fermions which originate from W-pair production, but also those arising from other mechanisms. Moreover, radiative corrections will be completed and implemented in a practical way. Searching for OpenAIRE data... There was an error trying to search data from OpenAIRE No results available
