Integrated information system for modelling and management of water resources: Concept and architecture
ESIMEAU Integrated Information System for Modelling and Management of Water Resources: Concept and Architecture, J. of Systems Analysis Modelling Simulation - SAMS, Vol. 40, pp. 669-688, 2001.
This paper addresses the concept and architecture of ESIMEAU, an integrated information system for modelling and management of water resources. ESIMEAU has been designed to provide a framework that permits users to implement it in various water modelling. It brings together a variety of information technology tools including advanced numerical models, database management systems, and geographic information technology. In this paper the general framework of ESIMEAU is discussed as well as the application of this framework to study the eutrophication problem in the Bouregreg lake in Morocco.
