Centrifugal vacuum casting technologies

In order to avoid sensitive alloys metallurgical problems (mainly titanium) the casting process is performed under secondary argon vacuum (meaning several cycles vacuum - argon). In order to keep the metal as clean as possible, the induction melting was adopted, either in the ceramic crucible or from segmented metallic bars.

Centrifugal casting process assures the evacuation of gases and segregation of eventual impurities and segregations. The process is completely automated, once established an optimal casting regime, the automation system permit the reproduction of the same technological conditions and parameters. Casting technologies for Co-Cr alloys, Ni-Cr alloys and commercial pure Titanium are available.
