Development of a method for collaborative learning with the support of the Digalo

Our method for collaborative learning with the support of the Digalo consists of several, interrelated components that are developed to achieve predefined learning goals. Some of these components are deliberately shaped by the teacher to promote argumentation, collaboration and learning with the support of the Digalo.

In our method we describe how teachers can "configure" the task, case, role, instructions, way of working, the tool and the planning in relation to the pedagogical goals. The method has been implemented in several secondary schools/universities in various domains.
