The understanding of the dynamic behaviour or micro generation sources and storage devices is crucial to identify the right decentralized control strategies to be installed in a MicroGrid. For this purpose, a simulation platform for the analysis of the dynamic behaviour of a microgrid under three phase-balanced conditions was implemented in the Matlab/Simulink environment

Specific issues like the response time constant of each microsource, voltage and frequency control were addressed.
