Final Activity Report Summary - P4CR (Platform for Cognitive Robotics) Among the main public awareness events of this project was the Icelandic Artificial Intelligence Conference which, for two years in a row, has proven to be a tremendous success. K. R. Thorisson was the instigator and manager of this full day-event. The festival drew a large group of people and attracted significant media attention. Visitors attended a 3-hour lecture series, an award ceremony (AI competition) and science/industry exhibition. The festival featured concerts by students of CADIA and professional musicians of experimental electronic music from the Icelandic School of the Arts and elsewhere. Among other outreach efforts were articles, written for public media by K. R. Thórisson and several interviews, about artificial intelligence and related technologies, as well as several articles for Vísindavefurinn - Iceland's primary on-line source for scientific material aimed at the general public, by K.
