Although frying is a popular cooking method, frying technologies currently on the market leave much to be desired regarding energy savings, ventilation systems and reducing oil residues in food. Now an Israeli SME specialising in food processing machines has designed an innovative technology for the frying process with the aforementioned advantages.

In the technology's final stage of the process, oil is able to be extracted from the product in a unique way. In so doing, the user is able to conserve energy by reducing the ventilation process and also can fry with less oil which decreases environmental pollution. Additional benefits include the fact that it can reduce costs since a ventilation system does not need to be installed and that that it is safe and easy to use.

Fast-food chains and any restaurants that fry food may find the technology useful. Industrial partners interested in further development as well as those who wish to apply the technology are sought.
