Call for proposals for 'NMP EU-Japan 2013
The European Commission has published a call for proposals entitled 'NMP - Coordinated call EU-Japan 2013'. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). With an indicative budget of EUR 5 million under the Nanoscience, Nanotechnologies, Materials and New Production Technologies (NMP) theme, the call provides incentives to coordinated projects for the development of new materials for the substitution of critical metals. Successful applicants will receive funding from the EU and the Japanese funding agency respectively. The projects should focus on the interplay between theory and/or large scale computational screening and experimental methods. They should include the synthesis or fabrication of nano or microstructures as well as an analysis of their effects and they can also address the recyclability of the materials. Close collaboration between Japanese and European partners is mandatory. To see the official call announcement, please consult: Participant portal To see partnership requests for this call, please consult: CORDIS Partners Service
