The European Commission has published its new Energy-efficient buildings call for proposals. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Part of the EU's initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption in Europe, the call for proposals 'Energy-efficient buildings' promotes green technologies and aims at the development of energy-efficient systems and materials for both new and renovated buildings.
