Call for proposals for Energy-efficient buildings
The European Commission has published its new Energy-efficient buildings call for proposals. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Part of the EU's initiatives to reduce CO2 emissions and energy consumption in Europe, the call for proposals 'Energy-efficient buildings' promotes green technologies and aims at the development of energy-efficient systems and materials for both new and renovated buildings. The call consists of three topics: - Nanotechnology for multifunctional lightweight construction materials and components - Safe, energy-efficient and affordable eco-innovative materials for building envelopes and/or partitions to provide a healthier indoor environment - Integration of technologies for energy-efficient solutions in the renovation of public buildingsTo see the official call announcement, please consult: Participant portal To see partnership requests for this call, please consult: CORDIS Partners Service
