Calls for proposals for Integrated research programmes on energy
The European Commission has published its 'Energy call - integrated research programmes' call for proposals. It is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Paving the way to Horizon 2020, the European Commission's Energy work programme for 2013 aims at boosting research efforts in order to develop new, high performance low carbon technologies. One of its main objectives consists in providing incentives for the development of integrated research programmes in Europe. The call includes nine topics covering a wide spectrum of renewable energy issues, from photovoltaics to wind energy, bioenergy, smart grids, electrochemical storage and concentrated solar power.
