Call for proposals for 'Aeronautics and air transport - RTD - High speed'
The European Commission has published its 'Aeronautics and air transport - RTD - High speed' call for proposals. The document is part of the latest set of calls published under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). Aiming to develop a coherent research programme on Civil High Speed Aircraft, the call foresees coordination with Australia, Japan, the Russian Federation and possibly other third party countries. One project shall receive EUR 5 million funding from the European Commission, while two complementary projects will be funded by non-EU partners. Successful applicants will have to perform fly testing of hypersonic aircrafts complying with EU sustainability targets.
